If your cat is stuck in a tree, you need a reliable, safe, and trusted solution. Spence’s Asheville Tree Top Cat Rescue provides free tree rescue services for cats throughout Asheville and the surrounding Western North Carolina area.
Many cats are natural climbers—but getting back down isn’t always so easy. That’s where Spence comes in. With a calm approach and a strong focus on safety, he works carefully to bring your cat back to the ground safely and stress-free.
Spence’s passion for helping animals has made him a trusted name in Asheville tree top cat rescue, with many successful recoveries—and even the occasional wildlife assist, including owlets.

Pisgah Area SORBA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association, leads the way in bike advocacy, conservation, and trail work across our region. As dedicated community trail stewards, they partner with the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) to protect natural resources and support sustainable trail access.
